R.E.M. by STIPE

R.E.M., formed in 1980, pioneered the alternative rock scene and earned the tagline ‘the biggest band on the planet’ by the mid-nineties. Their music is instantly recognisable with ringing guitar lines, tasteful drumming, melodic bass, sublime harmonies, and poetic lead vocals. Continuing as a trio after drummer Bill Berry's departure in 1997, R.E.M. broke up in 2011, ruling out ever re-forming.

R.E.M. by Stipe, the Definitive Tribute, reflects the core of R.E.M. with four highly-experienced musicians embodying Berry, Buck, Mills, and Stipe, capturing the presence and performances of the band. As dedicated fans, they are committed to holding true to the sound and overall aesthetic of R.E.M., allowing fans, old and new, to experience the magic of hearing these songs played live with care, conviction, and affection. They are joined on stage by additional musicians to bring album tracks to life, and each set-list is different, celebrating this timeless music.
