The Big Bird 5K

The Big Bird 5K 2026

One small route. One big reason to show up.

A 5K with a difference - Hosted by Kellie, her family and The Hibbs Lupus Trust, the Big Bird 5K is a brilliantly warm, wonderfully spirited day out for anyone who wants to move for a cause that matters.

Run it, jog it or walk it at your own pace.

Every step helps raise awareness of lupus and supports people and families living with it. Arrive ready to move, meet new people and make your miles matter.

Yes, you really do get a turkey.

There is plenty of encouragement along the way — and a one-of-a-kind festive finish-line treat: a frozen turkey for every participant, generously donated by Avara Foods.
