Explore FORGE support for advanced manufacturing growth, innovation and supply chain opportunities in Wolverhampton and the Black Country.
Join us for the LIPF-FORGE Wolverhampton & Black Country: Advanced Manufacturing Growth event, hosted by the University of Wolverhampton.
FORGE — Future-Oriented Regional Growth in Engineering — is part of the West Midlands Local Innovation Partnerships Fund (LIPF) and is focused on supporting advanced manufacturing innovation, future mobility, clean energy transition and regional supply chain growth.
This event will bring together businesses, regional partners and university teams to introduce the FORGE programme and explain how organisations can engage with the support available. It will provide an opportunity to learn more about the customer journey, explore routes into support, and understand how the University of Wolverhampton’s expertise and facilities can help businesses develop new ideas, capabilities and collaborations.
The session will also highlight the University’s offer through the National Brownfield Institute (NBI) and the Elite Centre for Manufacturing Skills (ECMS), with a focus on practical support for innovation, advanced manufacturing capability and supply chain development across Wolverhampton, the Black Country and the wider West Midlands.
Come along to hear from programme representatives, ask questions, discuss potential opportunities, and network with businesses and partners working across the region’s advanced manufacturing ecosystem.
Programme focus areas include:
Future mobility and transport-related supply chains
Clean energy transition and low-carbon manufacturing
Advanced manufacturing innovation and productivity
New product, process and capability development
Regional supply chain growth and business collaboration
